This is gonna be hard

I can't believe it's already the first of March! Wow, this winter really went by fast! It actually feels like we didn't get much of a winter here because until last week we really hadn't had much snow, which is not at all normal. I was a little bummed that we never got a big snow storm and was hoping we would get a big dumping of snow but now I think I've changed my mind and I'm ready for the warmer spring weather to get here.
It was a nice sunny day here today so that's helped to get me inspired and make some resolutions for this new month! So here is a little list of things I want to accomplish this month:

I want to make this cute skirt from Freshly Picked. I've always wanted to learn how to sew and although I have tried many times I always have trouble following the directions that come with patterns and I end up getting super frustrated and just giving up. But this tutorial looks like something I could definitely follow because the instructions are so clear and simple.

Growing my bangs out! Oh, this is so hard and frustrating! even though I only got bangs a few months ago I'm already sick of them. I love the way blunt bangs look on other people but they unfortunately just don't look that great on me. But it's so hard to grow them out, once they get a little long I can't leave them alone, I just have to trim them. So I've been pinning them back the last couple of days either with bobby pins or a headband just to get them out of my face. I'm going to go and hide every pair of scissors in my house just in case I get tempted to give 'em a little trim!

Stop eating so many sweats! Since I've been out of a job I have been spending a lot of my spare time baking. I enjoy baking but I also enjoy eating what I bake just as much which can be a bad thing, especially when your making cupcakes and cookies almost EVERY day! Bad cupcakes, your so tempting with your yummy icing. Mmm icing!

Do you guys have anything new you want to accomplish this month or this spring? Loved to hear about them!
