Etsy Love
Oh, I'm so bad! Just when I said I was going to post more my computer decides to stop working! It's not that old and it hadn't given any signs that it was dying, it just sort of stopped working. I had my Dad, who is Mr.I.T and knows everything there is to know about computers, take a look at it and he couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. I guess I should really take it some were to get looked at but that's probably going to cost money and I'm pretty broke at the moment. Anyway right now I'm using my Moms little pink laptop that has the smallest screen imaginable, but at least it's working so it will have to do for now.
Is anyone else completely addicted and in love with Etsy?! I'm sure you are. I can spend hours and hours browsing all the shops. There are just so, so many great vintage and handmade stores, it's just insane! I have saved quite a few things in my favorites over the last few weeks so I thought I would share some of them with you. There are a few vintage finds that I'm really in love with and saving up my pennies for, but I decided not to share because I'm afraid that someone might buy them before I do haha!
Here are a few things that I'm loving right now.
Simple t-shirts are my go to when I'm in a hurry so I like when they have a cute design on the front like the giant bow on this one. (Plus the seller is from Toronto, so yay for local talent!)
This gold headband would look so pretty poking out of my messy summer waves.
This top just screams summer to me! It would be so perfect with a pair of denim cut offs on a hot day.
I love finding vintage bags like these two. They are both so sweet and would make a simple outfit really stand out. The fabric on the one above is so bright and pretty and the flowers on the one below look like cotton candy! Yum!

I Miss You Big Time!
I miss you big time! That's what a friend of mine told me after we finally got to hang out after months of not seeing each other. And that's kind of how I feel about this blog, even though I don't update it as often as I would like to, I still miss it when I don't post anything for so long.
I really didn't mean to take such a long break, actually I didn't mean to take a break at all, it just sort of happened. Anyway I will try my best to start posting here again since I do enjoy it. I promise there will be more to come! I guess I've just been busy and uninspired lately. There's really no point in making excuses, let's just get on with things, and pretend that none of this ever happened! Sound good to you? Sounds good to me!
And to make you forget about my absents I leave you with some super cute bunny pictures! Because no one can stay mad after looking at cute bunnies! It's an instant mood booster!

Alice
I'm going see Alice in Wonderland tomorrow. I've heard some mixed reviews, both good and bad, about it. Have any of you seen it? What did you think, good, bad, a little strange?
I had planed on just waiting to see it when it came out on DVD but my aunt has been dying to see and so I finally agreed to go with her. Hopefully it will be good, but if it's not then we will just have to console ourselves with some shopping since the theater is on plaza that is full of some good outlet stores.

Toast
The new Toast spring catalogue has really got me wishing that the warm spring weather would hurry up and get here. Actually it's got me wishing that the hot summer weather would hurry up and get here but I know that's not gonna happen any time soon!
Looking at these pictures I can almost feel the warm sun on my skin. Normally I'm more of a cool weather girl, I love layering up and wearing cozy clothes, but the lack of hot weather that we had here last summer and the yucky rain that we've had lately is really making me long for the hot sun.
Oh and I definitely recommend ordering the Toast catalogues, I love getting them in the mail. Even though I don't normally order from them, they're just really pretty to look at and the pictures always look better in print then they do one your computer screen.

This is gonna be hard
I can't believe it's already the first of March! Wow, this winter really went by fast! It actually feels like we didn't get much of a winter here because until last week we really hadn't had much snow, which is not at all normal. I was a little bummed that we never got a big snow storm and was hoping we would get a big dumping of snow but now I think I've changed my mind and I'm ready for the warmer spring weather to get here.
It was a nice sunny day here today so that's helped to get me inspired and make some resolutions for this new month! So here is a little list of things I want to accomplish this month:
I want to make this cute skirt from Freshly Picked. I've always wanted to learn how to sew and although I have tried many times I always have trouble following the directions that come with patterns and I end up getting super frustrated and just giving up. But this tutorial looks like something I could definitely follow because the instructions are so clear and simple.
Growing my bangs out! Oh, this is so hard and frustrating! even though I only got bangs a few months ago I'm already sick of them. I love the way blunt bangs look on other people but they unfortunately just don't look that great on me. But it's so hard to grow them out, once they get a little long I can't leave them alone, I just have to trim them. So I've been pinning them back the last couple of days either with bobby pins or a headband just to get them out of my face. I'm going to go and hide every pair of scissors in my house just in case I get tempted to give 'em a little trim!
Stop eating so many sweats! Since I've been out of a job I have been spending a lot of my spare time baking. I enjoy baking but I also enjoy eating what I bake just as much which can be a bad thing, especially when your making cupcakes and cookies almost EVERY day! Bad cupcakes, your so tempting with your yummy icing. Mmm icing!
Do you guys have anything new you want to accomplish this month or this spring? Loved to hear about them!

Things that are making me...
Things that are making me HAPPY at this very moment are..
This post on Turned Out about how great redheads are!
As a natural ginger who was use to getting teased as a kid I always get happy and excited when I read something like this. It makes me feel just a tad bit cooler then I actually am.

The Alexa Chung for Madewell Collection.
While I'm not the biggest fan of Alexa Chung I do really like this collection. I would definitely wear every piece from this collection, and will be taking inspiration from it this spring.
Things that are making me SAD at this very moment...
Oh man! I can't believe we lost this game last night! I'm so sad, guess we'll have to try harder next time. This is our game, so GO CANADA GO!!
